Buldhana, Nov. 5 -- A car-truck collision on the Samruddhi Mahamarg near Dongargaon village in Maharashtra's Buldhana district claimed one life and left a woman seriously injured, police said today.
According to police, the accident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on November 3 when a car travelling from Nagpur to Mumbai lost control and rammed into a freight truck ahead on Channel No. 262 of the expressway. The impact killed the driver on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Bhavin Jaswant Nanda (40), a resident of Yavatmal. The injured passenger, Soni Pande (30), sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital before being shifted to Sambhajinagar for advanced treatment.
