Tel Aviv, June 7 -- One person was killed and several others injured in a shooting at a gas station in Kochav Ya'ir, near the border with the West Bank, Israeli police and emergency services said on Sunday.
Authorities are investigating the possibility that the incident was a terrorist attack.
According to an Israeli police statement, officers received reports of a shooting at a gas station in Kochav Ya'ir. Medical personnel at the scene initially reported that four civilians had been wounded and transported for treatment, including three in moderate condition and one in serious condition, local media reported.
