Muscat, Dec. 30 -- Jatinder Singh will captain Oman's 15-member unit for the T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.
Jatinder will be supported by Vinayak Shukla, who has been named as the vice-captain in the squad.
Oman will look to make a mark in their fourth appearance in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
In the upcoming edition, they are slotted in Group B along with Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland and Zimbabwe.
Oman made it into the tournament through the ICC Asia-EAP Qualifier, where they finished second behind Nepal.
The Asian side begin their campaign against Zimbawe on February 9 in Colombo, an ICC report said.
