Athens, May 25 -- Olympiacos Piraeus beat Real Madrid 92-85 to win the 2026 EuroLeague title here, claiming the European crown for the fourth time after 13 years.

In front of a home crowd at the Telekom Center Athens on Sunday, the Greek team from the port of Piraeus overcame its long-time rival in the championship game of the EuroLeague Final Four, which was held in the Greek capital for the first time in 19 years.

The Greek side entered the game in strong form, taking a slender 46-44 lead into the halftime break. The fourth quarter was a nail-biter, but the Reds outscored Los Blancos in the final minutes.
