Chennai, April 9 -- In a coordinated and proactive effort, the Oil Industry, under the guidance of the union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has intensified measures to ensure uninterrupted LPG availability across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, with special focus on migrant labours.
This comes in the backdrop of global supply disruptions linked to geopolitical developments, with the Government taking timely steps to stabilise fuel supplies and protect domestic consumers.
As part of these measures, the union Government has doubled the daily availability of 5-kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinders, which are particularly beneficial for migrant workers, daily wage earners, and other transient populations.
