Bhubaneswar, May 16 -- Amid reports of fuel shortages and chaotic scenes of panicked buyers queuing up at the filling stations invariably in all parts of Odisha, the State Government on Friday reviewed the overall petroleum supply situation and assured that adequate stocks of petrol and diesel are available across the state.

A high-level meeting was held at the State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra with representatives of major oil marketing companies to streamline the supply of petroleum products and ensure uninterrupted distribution to consumers.
