Bhubaneswar, June 30 -- Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday unearthed substantial assets during simultaneous searches conducted in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets (DA) case against Dhanurdhar Biswal, Establishment Officer-cum-Office Superintendent of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences And Research (VIMSAR), Burla.
According to Vigilance sources, the searches were launched following allegations that Biswal had accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The operation is being carried out by a Vigilance team comprising two DSPs, five Inspectors, three ASIs and supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.
