Bhubaneswar, July 21 -- AI-enabled CCTV surveillance systems with video analytics have been installed in 20 prisons across Odisha as part of a major security overhaul including deployment of drones, body-worn cameras, advanced metal detectors and strengthening prison perimeter walls, said officials on Tuesday.
Chaired by the Chief Secretary, the Prison Development Board (PDB) today reviewed a series of security initiatives undertaken over the past year to modernise prison administration and curb security breaches.
