Bhubaneswar, July 8 -- Odisha will introduce a completely paperless and cashless land registration system across all registration offices in the state in a major reform aimed at enhancing transparency, efficiency and accountability in property registration services.

The decision was taken at a high-level review meeting chaired by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari on Tuesday.

Reviewing the proposed reforms, the Minister said the new system would make the registration process transparent, citizen-friendly and corruption-free by minimising physical interaction and eliminating cash transactions.
