Bhubaneswar, July 10 -- Odisha will observe 'NAMASTE Day' across all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) on July 14 to recognise the invaluable contribution of Safai Mitras and promote safe, mechanised sanitation practices across the state.
The observance is being organised in line with the National Action for Mechanised Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE), a joint initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India.
