Bhubaneswar, Oct. 15 -- The Odisha State Election Commission will launch a door-to-door survey on October 26 to prepare electoral rolls for the 2027 panchayat and urban local body elections, with the exercise scheduled to conclude on November 7.
Addressing the media on Thursday State Election Commissioner Madhusudan Padhi said the draft electoral rolls would be published on January 1, 2027, while the final rolls would be released on February 10 after the disposal of claims and objections.
Voters will have 20 days from the publication of the draft rolls to verify their particulars and submit claims or objections, Padhi said while addressing a press conference.
