Bhubaneswar, Nov. 11 -- The Odisha government is set to implement Mission PoWaR, an integrated initiative aimed at providing power, water, and roads to citizens across both rural and urban areas of the state.

The mission envisions universal access to these three essential facilities, ensuring holistic development and improved living standards.

A preparatory meeting for the mission was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo.

It was attended by Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and Rural Development Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, and Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg.
