Bhubaneswar, Aug. 5 -- Odisha has set an ambitious target of adding nearly 11 gigawatts (GW) of renewable energy capacity by 2030 as part of its strategy to accelerate the clean energy transition and emerge as a major hub for power infrastructure and electrical equipment manufacturing.
Addressing a conference organised by the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), Odisha Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister K. V. Singh Deo said the state is leveraging its Rs 10 lakh crore investment pipeline to create sustained demand for high-quality electrical equipment, transformers and smart transmission components.
