Bhubaneswar, March 21 -- The Odisha government has embarked on a major initiative to develop a comprehensive City Gas Distribution (CGD) Policy aimed at strengthening urban infrastructure and promoting the adoption of clean, sustainable energy sources across the state.

The proposed policy is designed to accelerate the rollout of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) infrastructure, enhance coordination among key stakeholders, and position Odisha as a leader in adopting innovative urban energy solutions.
