Bhubaneswar, Aug. 13 -- The Odisha government on Thursday stepped up its focus on horticulture development to enhance farmers' income, promote climate-resilient agriculture and strengthen market opportunities for horticultural produce.

The state government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Khety Agro Pvt Ltd to promote climate-resilient agricultural practices and modernise the horticulture sector.

The MoU was signed during a state-level conference of horticulture officers organised by the Directorate of Horticulture under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment at Krushi Bhawan here.
