Bhubaneswar, July 5 -- The Odisha Society of America (OSA) has called for the revival of Odisha's public library movement and the creation of a modern, integrated library network across the state, saying stronger public institutions are essential for promoting reading culture, improving access to knowledge and supporting long-term socio-economic development.

The organisation hosted a virtual seminar on "Public Library Development in Odisha" from Minneapolis, USA, on Sunday, bringing together eminent Odias from India and abroad to deliberate on strengthening the state's public library infrastructure.
