Bhubaneswar, May 19 -- The Odisha Labour and ESI Department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Government of India, for the establishment of a new ESI Medical College and Hospital at Andharua in Bhubaneswar.
Initially, the existing ESI Hospital at Chandrasekharpur will function as the ESI Medical College and Hospital, official sources said on Tuesday.
The MoU was signed on Monday in the presence of Chitra Arumugam, Additional Chief Secretary of the Labour and ESI Department, Government of Odisha, along with other senior officials.
