Bhubaneswar, June 22 -- Odisha Government has deputed three senior officials to Tiruvallur in Tamil Nadu to coordinate relief measures and extend all necessary support to Odia workers and their families affected by the ammonia gas leak incident.

According to an update shared by Rajesh Agrawala, Special Secretary, Labour and ESI Department, who is leading the Odisha team, one deceased worker's body was shifted to Chennai on Sunday night, and the post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted on Monday.

One member of the Odisha team, M M Paik, will remain in Chennai to coordinate with the Joint Commissioner of Labour and officials of the Government Medical College Hospital for completion of post-mortem and other related formalities. ...
