Bhubaneswar, Oct. 6 -- The Odisha State Election Commission (SEC) will launch a statewide door-to-door voter survey from October 26 as part of an exercise to prepare an accurate, inclusive and error-free electoral roll for the 2027 panchayat and municipal elections, State Election Commissioner Madhusudan Padhi said on Tuesday.
Padhi made the announcement while chairing a meeting convened by the SEC with representatives of recognised political parties to discuss the preparation and revision of electoral rolls ahead of the elections.
