Bhubaneswar, Aug. 27 -- Internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has been honored by the World Records Book of India for creating 50 unique sand sculptures of Lord Ganesha across multiple countries.

The countries where the sculptures were crafted include Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan, Canada,the United Kingdom, Scotland, and several locations across India.

Each sculpture carried a distinct and meaningful message on pressing global issues such as climate change, environmental conservation ("Go Green"), global warming, peace, and harmony. The initiative represents a rare blend of art, culture, spirituality, and social responsibility.
