Bhubaneswar, Sept. 17 -- Odisha's World Skill Centre (WSC) has emerged as a model for industry-linked skill development, with the NITI Aayog highlighting its Bhubaneswar facility in a report on preparing India's workforce for the jobs of the future.
The centre was featured in the Aayog's recently released 'Reimagining Skilling for Viksit Bharat@2047' report, which calls for stronger industry-education linkages and greater emphasis on job-oriented training.
Set up by the Odisha government, the WSC offers advanced courses with modern equipment and world-class laboratories, giving trainees hands-on experience in emerging fields.
