Bhubaneswar, April 16 -- Leader of Opposition and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik has called upon all Members of Parliament from Odisha to raise a united voice, both inside and outside Parliament, to safeguard the state's rightful representation in the proposed delimitation exercise.

In a strongly worded letter addressed to Odisha MPs, Patnaik said he was writing not only as the president of the Biju Janata Dal but also as a concerned Odia committed to protecting the state's long-term interests, dignity, and equitable representation.

He cautioned that Odisha's position in the union could be undermined if the proposed 131st Constitutional Amendment Bill is passed in its current form.
