Bhubaneswar, Jan. 15 -- The Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar is set to be upgraded and modernized, transforming it into a world-class facility aimed at enhancing astronomy education and scientific engagement.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday to facilitate the major upgrade of the planetarium along with the establishment of new science centers across Odisha. These initiatives are expected to benefit students and the general public alike.
The MoU was signed between the Department of Science & Technology, Odisha, and the Birla Industrial & Technology Museum (BITM), Kolkata, a unit of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) under the Ministry of Culture.
