Bhubaneswar, Dec. 1 -- In a bid to further invigorate the coastal security system along the 480 km long Odisha coastline, Odisha Government has deployed state-of-the-art drones, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), fast interceptors vessels besides releasing Rs 26.149 crore budgetary allocations in the current fiscal, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi told the Assembly on Monday.
Replying to a query by BJD MLA Tusharkanti Behera, CM Majhi in a written reply said the Coast Guard and State's marine police in joint coordination are conducting exercise to curb sea route infiltration, subversive activities and sea route smuggling.
