Bhubaneswar, May 14 -- The Odisha government today reviewed the progress and future expansion plans of the World Skill Center (WSC), Bhubaneswar, with the State's Skill Development & Technical Education and Industries Minister emphasizing the need for greater industry-linked skilling and optimal use of infrastructure.
During the review meeting, officials highlighted that the World Skill Center has trained more than 9,000 candidates since its inception and recorded an impressive placement rate of over 99 percent, including 251 international placements. Leading recruiters include Tata Group, Hitachi, Wipro, Emrill and EFS.
