Bhubaneswar, June 22 -- : In a breakthrough, Odisha Police solved an armed robbery case within 24 hours and arrested seven accused involved in the crime.
Police also recovered looted valuables, cash, mobile phones, and weapons used during the robbery.
According to police sources, the incident took place on the evening of June 19 at around 8 PM at Gokulpalli village under Kabisuryanagar Police Station limits in Ganjam district.
A group of six armed miscreants allegedly entered the farmhouse of Rajanikanta Mishra, threatened family members at gunpoint, tied them up and looted around 15 tolas of gold ornaments, cash and two mobile phones before fleeing the spot.
