Bhubaneswar, Jan. 31 -- Odisha Parab 2026, a three-day cultural and tourism extravaganza organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, in collaboration with FICCI as the industry partner, was inaugurated in Guwahati on Saturday.
The festival celebrates Odisha's rich heritage, vibrant traditions, exquisite handicrafts, handlooms, authentic cuisine, and diverse tourism experiences, while fostering stronger cultural and people-to-people ties between Odisha and Assam.
Hosting the event in Guwahati, often called the gateway to the Northeast, reflects Odisha's strategic aim to deepen cultural and tourism engagement with the Eastern and Northeastern regions of India, promoting connectivity, collaboration, and mutual exchange.
