Bhubaneswar, July 17 -- Odisha Industries Minister Sampada Chandra Swain has urged union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to intervene and facilitate the safe return of an Odia youth from Jagatsinghpur district who has allegedly been stranded in Saudi Arabia even after the expiry of his employment contract.
In a letter to the External Affairs Minister, Swain sought immediate intervention to ensure the return of Pralaya Ranjan Mohapatra, who has been unable to leave Saudi Arabia despite his contract ending on April 30, 2026.
The Minister took up the matter after receiving a representation from Pralaya's mother, Vidya Sethi, who appealed for assistance in bringing her son back to India.
