Bhubaneswar, May 22 -- Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan on Friday emphasised the need for peaceful, smooth and disciplined conduct of the world-famous Rath Yatra and associated rituals in Puri through coordinated efforts of all stakeholders.
Chairing a high-level review meeting in Bhubaneswar, the minister discussed preparations for the orderly conduct of the annual festival with representatives of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, district administration, Puri police, Daitapati Nijog and other associated organisations.
Harichandan said every ritual and festival associated with Lord Jagannath is deeply linked with the faith and emotions of the people of Odisha and devotees across the globe.
