Bhubaneswar, July 20 -- Odisha Government on Monday directed all District Collectors to immediately enforce the revised English spellings of the names of districts, subdivisions, tehsils, blocks and urban local bodies in every form of official communication, while giving commercial establishments and private institutions six months to update their signboards.
Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Deoranjan Kumar Singh Padhee, has issued instructions to all District Collectors to ensure strict implementation of the revised spellings notified by the State Government.
