Bhubaneswar, May 14 -- The Odisha government has decided to observe its second anniversary in office in a simple and restrained manner in view of the prevailing crisis-like situation in the country arising from developments in West Asia.
The decision was taken at a preparatory meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to review plans for the completion of the government's two years in office.
Instead of organising grand celebrations, the Chief Minister stressed the need to focus on showcasing the government's achievements and welfare initiatives over the past two years.
