Bhubaneswar, Feb. 12 -- The Odisha government has effected a revision of 'Surrender and Rehabilitation Scheme of Government for Left Wing Extremists' policy' by making it more attractive and flexible to wean away the LWE cadres and top ranking leaders from treading the path of violence and join the mainstream.
While making the rehabilitation package attractive, the government also sounded warning to surrendered LWEs of forfeiture of assets if found dabbling or assisting in outlawed activities,The accrued assets shall automatically be forfeited to the State government, in case the surrenderee reverts to extremist activities.
