Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- A forged letter falsely claiming to be issued by the Odisha Finance Department has been circulating on social media and has also appeared in sections of the print media, prompting the government to issue a clarification.
The fake document claims that the Finance Department approved the creation and engagement of 7,234 'Sishu Vatika' (preschool) teacher posts under Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) with a monthly remuneration of Rs 26,200 per teacher.
The government, however, clarified that no such proposal has been approved and that the letter, including its signature, contents, letter number and purported approval, is entirely fabricated and has no official validity.
