Bhubaneswar, July 13 -- The Odisha government has issued comprehensive instructions to Revenue officials to strengthen the protection, maintenance of land records and effective management of landed properties belonging to Mahaprabhu Shree Jagannath, Bije Puri.
Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Arvind Padhee, has written to the Board of Revenue, all Revenue Divisional Commissioners (RDCs), Collectors and the Director of Land Records and Survey (DLRS), directing them to initiate immediate action on priority.
Padhee said Odisha's identity is intrinsically linked with Lord Shree Jagannath and safeguarding all properties belonging to the Lord is a moral responsibility.
