Bhubaneswar, July 23 -- Odisha Government has significantly enhanced the financial powers of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Smart City authorities to strengthen urban governance, accelerate infrastructure development, and ensure faster decision-making and project execution across the state.
The Housing and Urban Development Department has issued a notification revising the delegation of financial powers for Urban Local Bodies and Smart City Limiteds. The new framework comes into immediate effect, superseding all previous orders, notifications, and memoranda on the subject.
