Bhubaneswar, May 24 -- In a major administrative overhaul in the police establishment, the Odisha government transferred and reassigned 18 senior IPS and OPS cadre officers to various district and specialised policing units across the state.
As per a notification issued yesterday by the Home Department, several district Superintendents of Police (SPs) and officers serving in specialised wings have been given new assignments aimed at strengthening field administration and operational efficiency.
Among the key changes, Nabarangpur SP Madkar Sandeep Sampat has been appointed as DIG, CID-CB, Cuttack, while Khordha SP Vivekananda Sharma has been posted as SP, CID-CB, Cuttack.
