Bhubaneswar, Aug. 7 -- The Odisha Government on Friday assured farmers of adequate availability of fertilisers in the State, urging them not to panic during the ongoing Kharif 2026 season.
The government said adequate stocks of various fertilisers have been positioned across cooperative societies and authorised retail outlets, while strict monitoring and enforcement measures have been put in place to prevent hoarding, black-marketing and illegal diversion of supplies.
Following the Centre's allocation of different varieties of fertilisers, adequate stocks have been positioned with MARKFED, Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS), Large-Sized Adivasi Multipurpose Cooperative Societies (LAMPCS) and authorised retail dealers.
