Bhubaneswar, Nov. 13 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati has emphasised the need for entrepreneurial and demand-based livelihood initiatives to strengthen the economic base of tribal regions.

Speaking on the importance of diversifying income sources, the Governor said that those engaged in agriculture should also adopt allied activities such as dairy, poultry, fisheries, and rural enterprises to boost their earnings.

"There is a lot of scope and opportunity in agriculture-based entrepreneurship" he said, adding that focus should be on developing and supporting such ventures.
