Bhubaneswar, June 5 -- : Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Friday led a plantation drive at Lok Bhavan to mark World Environment Day and called upon citizens to actively participate in environmental conservation by planting trees.
The Governor, accompanied by First Lady Jayashree Kambhampati, planted a sapling at Atal Van within the Lok Bhavan premises. Officers and staff of Lok Bhavan also joined the initiative, reaffirming their commitment to environmental protection and sustainable living.
Addressing the gathering, Kambhampati stressed that protecting the environment is a collective responsibility and urged every citizen to contribute towards a greener future through tree plantation.
