Bhubaneswar, Aug. 21 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Friday congratulated the CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR-IMMT) for developing a first-of-its-kind indigenous pilot plant to process bituminous coal fly ash and recover multiple value-added products at the NALCO Research & Technology Centre (NRTC) in Bhubaneswar.
The Governor visited CSIR-IMMT and reviewed various research, technology development and demonstration initiatives undertaken by the institute.
During his visit, Kambhampati toured the PGIM Pilot Plant, Mineral Processing Pilot Plant, Sustainable Recycling Centre and the Technology Demonstration Plant for the recovery of four metals from deep-sea polymetallic nodules.
