Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- The Odisha Government has taken a significant step towards transforming the state's registration system into a fully digital and paperless process.
A high-level meeting held at Lok Seva Bhawan here on Thursday under the chairmanship of Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari discussed proposed amendments to the Registration Act, 1908, to facilitate the introduction of paperless deed registration in the state.
Pujari said the proposed system would enable citizens to access registration services in a more convenient, transparent and hassle-free manner. Integration of land records with registration records would further improve efficiency, transparency and ease of service delivery, he said.
