Bhubaneswar, Feb. 10 -- In a significant move to strengthen the state's healthcare system, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a hike in the monthly salaries of AYUSH doctors working under the National Health Mission (NHM). The decision aims to encourage and recognize the valuable contribution of AYUSH doctors to public healthcare in the state.
The Chief Minister stated that the salary revision has been undertaken to motivate AYUSH doctors for their dedicated service and to further improve AYUSH healthcare delivery across Odisha.
As per the decision, the salaries of contractual AYUSH doctors have been increased based on their length of service, with monthly hikes ranging from Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000.
