Bhubaneswar, July 22 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Wednesday alleged that an acute fertiliser shortage, coupled with the glitches in QR code-based distribution system, has triggered a crisis during the ongoing Kharif season, leaving lakhs of farmers struggling to procure urea.
The Opposition party urged Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to immediately convene a high-level review meeting to ensure uninterrupted fertiliser supply across Odisha.
