Bhubaneswar, July 18 -- Odisha has emerged as one of the top ten performing states in the country in rooftop solar installations under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana (PMSG-MBY), registering a total of 1,56,606 installations, including 92,280 under PMSG-MBY and 64,326 under the ULA Scheme.
Reviewing the implementation of the flagship scheme on Saturday, Chief Secretary Anu Garg commended all four power distribution companies-TPCODL, TPNODL, TPSODL and TPWODL-for their outstanding efforts in accelerating rooftop solar adoption across the state.
She also directed the DISCOMs to expedite the implementation of the PM-KUSUM 2.0 scheme to further expand renewable energy generation and strengthen Odisha's clean energy ecosystem.
