Bhubaneswar, May 22 -- More than 1.18 lakh undergraduate students studying in institutions under Odisha's Higher Education Department have participated in internship and community service programmes during the 2025-26 academic session in line with the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Under the NEP 2020 framework, undergraduate students are required to undertake internships and community service activities during the fourth semester as part of experiential learning.
