Bhubaneswar, April 18 -- The Odisha government is actively promoting industrial growth by offering 'plug-and-play' facilities and empowering district collectors with enhanced decision-making authority for industry-related matters, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said on Saturday.
Inaugurating the state-of-the-art manufacturing unit of 'We-Track India Private Limited' at Infovalley-II in Khordha, the Chief Minister highlighted a strategic shift in the state's industrial focus.
He noted that while Odisha earlier concentrated largely on mining-based industries, the government has now successfully attracted investments in emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, textiles, and pharmaceuticals.
