Bhubaneswar, June 23 -- Odisha has prepared a comprehensive action plan to intensify efforts against narcotics and completely dismantle the supply chain of illegal drugs across the state as part of its drive towards creating a drug-free Odisha.
The initiative was highlighted by Director General of Crime Investigation Department (CID) and Crime Branch, Vinaytosh Mishra, during the 7th meeting of the State-Level Narcotics Coordination Centre (NCORD), held at Lok Seva Bhavan under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anu Garg on Tuesday.
The meeting reviewed measures to strengthen enforcement against drug trafficking, expand public awareness campaigns, and improve inter-agency coordination to curb narcotics activities across the state.
