Bhubaneswar, June 2 -- : The Odisha CID Crime Branch has arrested the prime accused in the sensational mob lynching case involving the murder of Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Soumya Ranjan Swain in the Bhingarpur-Kaja area under Balianta police limits on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on May 7.
Crime Branch sources said on Tuesday that the prime accused, Pradeep Managara alias Dipu (46) of Benupur village under Balianta police station, was apprehended from Dhenkanal on Monday night based on substantial evidence gathered during the investigation.
