Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- In a major boost to healthcare infrastructure and medical education, the Odisha government has approved the creation of 755 new posts across government medical colleges and medical education institutions in the state.
The decision is aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery, enhancing the quality of medical education, and ensuring the availability of skilled medical professionals to meet the growing healthcare needs of the population.
According to official sources, the newly sanctioned posts include 7 Professors, 35 Associate Professors, 50 Assistant Professors, 29 Tutors, 248 Senior Residents, 190 Junior Residents (MBBS), 112 Casualty Medical Officers (CMOs), and 84 Blood Bank Officers (BBOs).
