Bhubaneswar, Nov. 19 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday urged District Collectors and Superintendents of Police to work collaboratively to make Odisha completely free from Naxal influence by 2026.
Addressing officials at the valedictory session in Bhubaneswar, the Chief Minister emphasised that development and security must progress together.
Majhi directed Collectors and SPs to intensify efforts against illegal liquor trade, land mafias, and economic offenders, while also keeping a strong watch on accident-prone zones.
He stressed the need for close coordination with Coastal Security, the Coast Guard, and the Navy to prevent any form of infiltration.
